Let's do a close-up of Katherine DeMille, who, in fact was an orphan adopted by the famous director, and played supporting roles and exotic leads in a number of films during the 1930s and 40s.

DeMille was born in 1911 and was married to actor Anthony Quinn from 1937 to 1955. The couple had two children. After retiring from acting, she settled in California and studied philosophy.
